It was not a hard decision for me to put my children first. Naysayers might think that i am not operating in the children's best interest because i don't have a big house and a bunch of money. My children reminice with joy about their childhoods and how much fun they had basically for free. Consumerism is a big propblem and even when times were good. i saved the extra money and they were none the wiser about the nest eggs they will inherit upon entering adulthood.

In hindsight i see that is the best part of being an overachieving ADHD parent.

The beauty behind having multiple children and living in an apartment building instead of an individual home is having a built in community at all times. the hallway is a communal area.
